Join Colour Drop Design at JoiRyde Winery at the District Wine Village in Oliver for a 2.5 hour silk scarf workshop.
Pick your choice of one of the two sessions: Start at 12:30 pm or 3:00 pm
Colour Drop Design brings the beautiful, ancient art of water marbling to the 21st century by inviting you to be the artist. Come and make your own water marbled silk scarf. Each workshop begins with a demonstration, where you will learn and experience this art form. Each artist chooses their colours and floats the paint one drop at a time on the surface of the water. Then uses marbling combs, rakes, or stylus to create the design of their liking. We will print your finished design onto a silk scarf for you to take home and wear. If you can sprinkle cheese on a pizza, or write your name with a pencil you can make magic with us!

JoiRyde Winery was created in celebration of spontaneity. Taking a chance, grabbing life by the wheel, and living by your own rules. Daphne Scromeda and Stacy Allen took a year of lemons (2020) and made wine. Combining their passion for wine and business savvy, the two embarked on a journey to create BC wine worth celebrating.
