Do You Have What It Takes To Win? Be The First “Crush The Climb” Champion!
The Competition
Fairview Mountain is a long continuous hill that winds from the centre of Oliver all the way up to Oliver’s old historic town site.
Riders depart for the climb from the Visitor Centre one at a time in a clocked pursuit. The 4.7km climb culminates at the Fairview Townsite where the fastest rider to the top will be the 1st Annual “Crush the Climb” record holder.
Cheer On The Riders!
Spectators will be able to cheer on the riders while they pass through the downtown core as well as line the hillside as the riders pace themselves up the grueling switchback to the summit.
Right from the start, cyclists will need to dance on their peddles as the gradient picks up and continues from start to finish.
This is the last opportunity of the season for die-hard cyclists to test their fitness and claim the grand prize (TBD).
